The purpose of this research is to develop a landscape design guide for Mehranrood based on the theory of environmental preferences of Kaplans and with a participatory design approach. The edge of Mehranrood near the historical bazaar of Tabriz is surrounded by a circle of inefficient spaces due to the design approach without the participation of the people. Citizen participation requires the intervention of people's preferences in the design process of this ecological area of the city. For this purpose, first, the visual qualities of urban design were classified based on Kaplan variables and became the basis for selecting images. The images were then scored using the VPT technique. The statistical population of the study was residents, merchants and passers-by in the study area. Sampling was done by simple random method and the sample size was determined to be 200 according to the Cochran's formula. This study shows that citizens' visual preferences are more prone to variables of complexity and readability. Although qualities related to coherence and mystery variables must also be present in the environment, they have a lower priority. There is also a relationship between Kaplan's variables and equivalent visual qualities in urban design. The degree of correlation between the variables of coherence and rhythm, complexity and variety, readability and visual permeability, mystery and wave motions is more than other variables in their respective group. The innovation of this research has been the simultaneous attention to the inseparable dimensions of objective and subject in landscape evaluation.

The aim of this stuy was to investigate the situation of Rasht metropolis in terms of urban cycling and prioritization of optimal routes for designing cycling routes. The type of research was descriptive-analytical through survey method. The statistical population of the study included the citizens present in the cycling route of Gil Square in Rasht. Using Cochran's equation, 384 people were determined as the sample size. The research instrument was a researcher made questionnaire and its reliability was confirmed by using Cronbach's alpha test with a coefficient of 0.74. SWOT analytical model and QSPM matrix, hierarchical analysis (AHP) were also used to analyze the data. The innovation of the present study is in using the opinions of citizens and proposing optimal cycling routes on the same basis, with respect to rankings. According to the research findings, 52.33% of the research sample preferred to use bicycles and 36.33% preferred buses for city trips. An examination of the status of the current cycling route showed that citizens do not choose the current two-kilometer route, despite their high desire for cycling. More than 60% of the respondents have expressed their desire to use the bike path from Gil Square to Mosalla Square at low and very low levels. SWOT matrix analysis showed that the best strategies for upgrading the urban cycling system in Rasht are offensive strategies, especially the design of new cycling routes. In this regard, using the AHP model, the optimal range for this strategy was suggested.

The aim of this research is to simulate the collection of runoff due to irregular rainfall regimes and the total occurrence of annual rainfall in dry areas. Simulation has been done using hydrological models in Islamshahr city with a dry climate. The data includes all the layers related to surface and subsurface urban infrastructures for collecting runoff, which is prepared from spatial data sources in ArcGIS software. The research method for calculating runoff in Islamshahr is the SCS (CN) model during 2005 and 2011. In this regard, first, the direction and collection of runoff were determined based on elevation data and field observations. Then the amount of runoff produced in each evaluation basin and the geometry of its channels were calculated with the atmospheric runoff simulation Swale model in SWMM software. The combination of the SCS (CN) model in the production of runoff and the Swale model in the SWMM environment has provided a new way to collect runoff at the best point of its concentration so that the maximum runoff produced in basins 3 and 4 and 5 of Islamshahr because the runoff from the upstream basins is also added to it, so it is a suitable outlet for collecting runoff. Also, in terms of reducing runoff, the Swale model reduces the vulnerability potential of Islamshahr in the face of the risks of urban runoff.

There is a link between housing that has a large share of the total economy and urban economic competitiveness. The adequacy of the supply and allocation of land for the development of new housing, as well as the importance of maintaining cheap land, which can be maintained by local power for urban development, is evident. In this research, the purpose of the estimation of the number of residential units needed to provide residential units in Tehran in 1400 Hijri. The research method of this paper is based on information-based analytical-descriptive. Considering that the population is the main cause of creating a potential demand for housing, first the population of Tehran was estimated for 1400 using three nonlinear polynomial quadratic models, Gampartz and logistic. Since the comprehensive plan of each city is the city's most important project, population estimates of second-order polygonal models and Gampartz were considered due to their close proximity to the project. Then, using the logistic model, which was a suitable method for estimating the number of residential units in a citythat the number of residential units was estimated based on these three population estimates. The number of residential units obtained from the Gompertz model based on the population was 663141 which can be as a measure for decision making and urban future planning in order to achieve economic competitiveness of the city.

The aim of this study was to identify the key and effective factors on the resilience threshold of urban spaces against earthquakes in Zanjan. The research method was descriptive-analytical. Statistical population of the study The statistical population included all experts and managers of Zanjan Municipality. A total of 27 people were selected as the sample size and were selected using purposive sampling method. The research tool was an expert questionnaire. Using the concept of resilience threshold and socio-ecological approach in studying the resilience of urban spaces is a research innovation. The results show that most of the indicators related to proper planning and design of communication network and its coordination with the ecological context have the highest driving force. Based on the output of the model, the effective indicators on the threshold of social-ecological resilience of urban spaces can be classified into 9 levels, which in a more comprehensive classification can be divided into three levels of basic, link and dependent indicators. Most of the basic indicators that are most important in the urban space resilience system are institutional variables, while the link indicators are related to the characteristics of the road network and the natural context of the urban space, and finally the related indicators refer to the physical and functional characteristics of the urban space.

The main purpose of this study is to assess the level of citizens' satisfaction with public transportation in Tabriz. The research tool is the questionnaire and the statistical population of Tabriz citizens. The statistical sample was calculated based on Cochran's formula and was selected randomly in the statistical population. The research method is survey. Due to the range of questioning and interviews with citizens using this system in different days, hours and conditions, it has innovation. first 13 indicators were identified to assess the level of satisfaction with the services of the bus system in the city. information was collected and were analyzed using SPSS software and one-sample t-test. The results showed that the level of satisfaction with research indicators can be divided into three groups. In the first group; There are indicators that the level of satisfaction with these indicators is moderate. Indicators such as heating systems, cooling system and the amount of payment are in the first group. In the second group; There are indicators such as the behavior of drivers and employees and working hours of the bus system, and satisfaction with these indicators is above average. Also in the third group; The level of satisfaction with the indicators of route furniture and stations, safety and security of stations, number of seats for passengers and services provided for the disabled is less than average. The average overall satisfaction is 3.13, which indicates that it is in a medium range.

The aim of this study was to identify the effects of urban development on rangelands and forests of Sirvan city. In terms of nature, it has been a descriptive-analytical research by the use of Landsat 5TM satellite sensors of 1987, Landsat 7 ETM + sensors of 2000 and Landsat 8 of OLI sensors of 2016 in order to collect data. After performing geometric and atmospheric corrections on the maps, images were classified through maximum likelihood algorithm supervised method with and LCM method was used to analyze the changes. The attempt was made to study the trend of land use changes in Sirvan city to protect the forests and pastures of Sirvan city, so that it could be planned for better management. Findings showed that in the period 1987 to 2000, about 140 ha of pastures were built for human lands and in the period 2000 to 2016, about 395 ha of pastures and 20 ha of forests were built for human lands. In a period of 29 years, 6850 ha of pastures and 680 ha of forests were changed to agricultural lands and according to the results, urban development has turned the rangeland and forest lands of Sirvan city into residential lands.
