The purpose of this study is to investigate the ability to develop suitable winter sports areas in Sepidan city. The research method is analytical-descriptive and applied. In this research, using the AHP method, the most susceptible Areas for the development of winter sports in Sepidan township have been identified. For this purpose, important factors affecting this phenomenon include; rainfall, air temperature, altitude, slope and direction of slope, communication routes, density of communication routes, distance from residential areas and land use which were used. The use of satellite images of the snow cover in combination with the hierarchical method to determine the favorable areas for the development of winter sports is the innovation of the present research. The results of weighting the criteria affecting the development of winter sports in this province showed that rainfall is of primary importance. Spatial analysis of the weight of variables affecting the development of winter sports has shown that almost all the weights obtained from the 9 variables affecting the development of tourism in the northern and northwestern regions of the township have more weight. Combining 9 layers of information with hierarchical analysis in the ArcGIS software environment and calculating the final weight leading to the extraction of 5 different classes in terms of areas prone to the development of winter ecotourism. The results showed 3.46 percent of the township's area is very suitable for tourism development.

The aim of this research not only is prioritization of waterfalls of Lorestan province to investment but also, is selection one of them in order to introduce as a tourism sample area.Methodology. The statistical society was composed of seven main waterfalls of mentioned province and the community of tourism experts. The study method was an analytical-descriptive and practical method.Since, the specified index has not been offered to prioritization attractions from the organization in order to select sample areas so, some criteria and sub-criteria have been selected on the advice of tourism experts. Since, desired criteria had different values and validities in prioritization, so AHP method was the best method which in the importance of each criterion composed of quantitative and qualitative criteria was considered. So, prioritization has been done by using this method. The results showed that, Bisheh waterfall in the city of Dorood with the value of 0.194 has the best situation for investment and also has sufficient potential in order to introduce as a tourism sample area. This was followed by the Nojian waterfall with the height of more than 90 meters and acquired value of 0.147 which has the proper situation for investment. From most important short-term suggestions can be developed of access routes to waterfalls and increase of variety of services noted.

Commercial complexes as one of urban land uses and the most important physical elements play an important role in the creation of new urban spaces. Today, the establishment of multipurpose commercial complexes in cities is considered as a suitable solution for creation of new urban cores. In planning for establishment of new commercial complexes with the aim of creating dynamic urban spaces, simultaneous attention to suitable access, designing leisure spaces and tourism components are important. In this study, the dynamics of Laleh Park commercial complex in Tabriz has been assessed based on components such as suitable form and flexibility, mixed- used land uses, liveliness, visual proportionality and sense of belonging, permeability, security and timing. The method of current study is descriptive-analytical and required data have been collected using library and field sources. Statistical population of this research is specialists and visitors of Laleh Park commercial complex. Up to 384 individuals were selected as sample size and data were analyzed using statistical methods, i.e. chi square in SPSS, by quantitative and qualitative tests. The results show that more than 90 percent of the respondents had positive attitude towards desirability of the commercial center and this complex has been effective in dynamics of surrounding urban spaces. As allocation of different commercial, tourism, recreational and residential land uses to the urban areas of this complex confirms this result.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the location of sports activities with emphasis on social justice and spatial balance in Shiraz. The research method was descriptive-analytical based on 11 criteria. To examine the criteria from the layers of proximity to compatible uses, the following variables were used: Non-proximity to incompatible uses, access to public transportation, access to public parking, access to the arterial transportation network, determining the radius of performance at regional and transregional scales, consideration of the approved use of detailed plan, young population, population density, available sports per capita and the lack of inappropriate slope. In order to determine the priority of each criterion, a researcher-made questionnaire was completed by 40 experts, then by forming a pair of data comparison matrix, the score of each criterion was determined by the experts and 7 priorities were extracted. The results revealed that the fuzzy overlap method had more flexibility than the index overlap. The results of the two methods shared about 60%. From the research findings, it can be concluded that the use of GIS and AHP is a suitable method for evaluating location, and planners and city managers are recommended to use the results of this research to locate new sports centers. The innovation of this research is the use of several combined analytical methods in the GIS context.

In other words, the spatial development of the city over the past half-century over the 2/4 is equal to population growth; the happens is interpreted to indiscriminate horizontal development and destroy the best gardens and periphery farms and eliminate lungs breathing of the city and eventually threat environment. Research hypotheses are as follows: 1) given the indicators on the social dimensions of sustainability- cultural, economic, and physical environment, sustainable development has occurred in Tabriz. 2) The city of Tabriz is a difference in having urban sustainability indicators. The research was adescriptive- analytical study and has been used quantitative methods and models such as factor analysis, AHP method and nonparametric Friedman and Wilcoxon tests, HDI combined model and GIS. The result of the investigations showed that among 10 metropolitan areas of Tabriz the 3deprived areas with average 0.27% of development factor are placed in the lowest development and in other words is allocated the firstpriorities of urban development for the future management and planning of Tabriz to itself.

This research presents an integration of fuzzy logic with GIS for landfill site selection in Durood city alongside with the customized GIS application for doing this study. One of the most important issues of sanitary landfill is to identify suitable locations. Landfill selection in an area is a critical issue in the decision making process because of its great impact on the economy, ecology and the environmental health of the region. most common sub-criteria, documented in literature and implicated (IEPO) including surface water, ground water, land use, distance to well, soil type, slope, protected area, fault in environmental group, residential area, road, airport, village, infrastructure, historical area, wind direction in socioeconomical group were selected and the weight of each criterion was determined based on expert’s knowledge with use of analytical hierarchy process (AHP). At the first step, in order to find the suitable sites, GIS digital map overlay techniques were used (customized GIS application). The second step was a fuzzy logic approach that the system ranked sites on a scale of 0–100%, with 100% being the most appropriate one. At the third step the potential sites that were selected from the last step will be ranked by Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) in order to prioritize the potential sites. Field observations also confirmed suitability of the selected sites, and hence this method can be used in urban areas for waste dumping site selection procedure. Selected sites are considered to be suitable for landfill to minimize environmental risk and human health problems.

Global Warming is now one of the most important environmental issues. In the present study, in order to reveal the effect of global warming on the climate of cities located in the Urmia Lake basin, the changes in 14 climatic variables were evaluated through Mann-Kendall test and least of squares error test in three time scales: annual scale, wet season scale and dry season scale. The results indicated that according to the tests done the minimum, maximum and average temperatures increased in both annual and seasonal time scales. The average temperature of the area increased by 0.06 degree Celsius annually and the maximum rate of increase was about 0.13 degree Celsius per year in Maraghe. The temperature of very hot days (with a maximum of 30 degree Celsius or more) increased and the temperature of very cold days (with a minimum of -4 degree Celsius or less) decreased. Total rainfall and the amount of heavy precipitation decreased. The average rainfall in the region declined by about 4 mm a year. The wind speed parameter showed negative, positive and stable trends in the area under study, but the relative humidity was negative in most stations. In general, the results of Mann-Kendall and Least-squares error methods were consistent. Overall, the trend of climatic elements was in line with the latest findings of the intergovernmental panel on climate change.

Immigration and the growth of metropolitan areas are always associated with major changes in the areas around them. National Tehran metropolis with its rapid growth in recent decades has caused population increase and physical development of the surrounding towns and villages. The aim of this study is to investigate the factors affecting demographic and physical changes in Garachak city as a settlement around Tehran metropolis. The research method is descriptive-analytic and data collection was based on library documents, observation, in-depth interviews and 300 household questionnaires completed randomly. The data were analyzed by using single T- test, multi-variable regression, interpretation of satellite images (in years 1987 and 2011), and Holdern model. The results showed that due to reasons such as locating on Tehran-Varamin road, short distance and the rapid access to metropolis Tehran and its facilities, and also due to the low costs of land and housing in that area, Garachak city has had high population growth so that the city as a complementary area for Tehran has an additional role in residency and settlement. According to Holdern model analysis, approximately %68 of physical growth and nearly %32 of growth in Garachak city is respectively associated with population growth and horizontal-sprawl growth which have caused huge changes in economic, social, and ecological aspects of the city.

The data and information required for the study include slope, land cover, exclusion, urban development, transportation, hillshade, which were extracted from the SLEUTH model and its five growth coefficients. Then, using related research and researchers' opinions, the three scenarios of historical trends, protection of lands with natural value and multicenter network were evaluated. The results showed that the coefficient of expansion and gravity of the road have the greatest impact on simulation and scenario building and play a very effective role in the future development of the study area. Therefore, around the main communication axes of the study area, the pattern of linear scattered development, in the vicinity of villages and populated towns, the pattern of cluster development and in other lands with a separate structure, the pattern of scattered development and frog jumping have a spatial appearance. This development trend has been formed in the northern and central areas of the city-Mazandaran region more than other areas and the alternative scenario in order to achieve a balanced and balanced development model of the region is a multicenter network. The innovation of the research in simulating the development of constructed lands and the scenario of development developments in the city-central region of Mazandaran province is the prediction of lands constructed based on the SLEUTH model.

Using of land and natural resources, without considering the environmental and ecological potential, cause the adverse effects and environment degradation. Geomorphic forms and processes are the prevailing natural features and disasters that have caused damage to the humans and the environment via theirs properties. This study investigates the suitable positions of urban settlements development in the Yasouj according to geomorphic forms and processes. In this regard, according to region's natural characteristics, 5 criteria, 15 sub-criteria and 84 classes were identified in order to achieve goals. First, layers slope, aspect, elevation classes, lithology, settlement density, distance from settlement, landuse, road density, distance from road, fault density, distance from fault, density river, distance from river, rainfall and temperature were prepared via basic maps of Yasouj, and were analyzed. Then, these factors were evaluated and were weighed by AHP model. At the end, their raster layers were integrated by Arc GIS 10 software, and final map of urban settlements development in the study area were drawn. Finally, to confirm the results, the final map was evaluated with the current map of the city Yasouj comparatively. The results show that among the effecting factors, sub-criteria of slope, lithology and distance from settlement, with weights of 0.205, 0.129 and 0.104,have been identified as the most important factors in the site selection of Yasouj urban settlements, respectively. According to final map, about %13.46 (37.56 Km2) and %24.44 (68.406 Km2) of the study area are very suitable and suitable for the development of urban settlements, respectively.

One of the main factors in assessing the degree of development in a region is existing adequate employment opportunities and the amount of labor supply and demand. That is in each area, according to the labor supply and demand, the job shortage is measured to examine the degree of its development. The labor market model is one of the models that examine the labor market conditions. The purpose of the present study is to examine the condition of labor market development in Sages county in a period of four recent censuses from 1966 to 2006. The study is practical in terms of aim, and a descriptive-analytic in terms of method. Data was collected from detailed results of population and housing censuses in 1966, 1976, 1986, 1996, and 2006.The research variables were the number of immigrants out, the number of immigrants in, the rate of natural growth, unemployment rate, employment and labor force. The result showed that the labor force market in Sagez county has not been balanced in any of the periods and this imbalance in the labor market has caused migration into the urban area and intense migration out in rural area. It was found that the lack of equal job opportunities in rural and urban areas has resulted in excessive transfers of population in these areas and finally, an imbalance of labor market in Sagez county as a whole.
