Based on the data collection method, this research is descriptive and from the point of view of the goal, it is an applied development. The statistical population of the Delphi panel is 30 people from the experts in the field of urban planning, and the statistical population studied is managers and experts in urban planning and urban planning, and university professors. The tool for data collection is the Dimtel questionnaire, which was designed using the Delphi technique in three rounds. In order to break down and analyze the data and obtain cause and effect relationships and the weight of each index, the DANP combined technique was used. The results of the research showed that the dimension of disturbance in social interactions (0.00262) and decrease in mental health (0.240.00) have the most weight, followed by disturbance in privacy (0.00209), disturbance in socialization (0.189) 0) and reducing the sense of belonging to the place (0.00145) has taken the third to fifth ranks. And in the end, suggestions have been made to reduce the social consequences in the process of upgrading Ahvaz city. هدف پژوهش حاضر طراحی و تبیین مدلی است که با استفاده از آن بتوان چالش‌های اجتماعی ناشی از افزایش بلندمرتبه‌سازی شهری را با توجه به معیارها ارزیابی نمود. این ﭘﮋوﻫﺶ ﺑـﺮاﺳـﺎس روش ﮔـﺮدآورى دادهﻫـﺎ، ﺗﻮﺻـﻴﻔﻰ و از ﻧﻈﺮ ﻫـﺪف، ﺗﻮﺳﻌﻪاى ﻛﺎرﺑﺮدى اﺳﺖ. جامعه آماری پانل دلفی 30 نفر از خبرگان حوزه شهرسازی و جامعه آماری مورد مطالعه مدیران و کارشناسان شهرسازی و برنامه ریزی شهری و اساتید دانشگاه می باشد. اﺑﺰار ﮔﺮدآورى داده‌ﻫﺎ ﭘﺮسش‌نامه دیمتل اﺳﺖ ﻛﻪ ﺑﺮاى ﻃﺮاﺣـﻰ آن از ﺗﻜﻨﻴﻚ دﻟﻔﻰ ﻃﻰ ﺳﻪ راﻧﺪ اﺳﺘﻔﺎده ﺷﺪه اﺳﺖ. ﺑـﻪ‌ﻣﻨﻈـﻮر ﺗﺠﺰﻳـﻪ‌و‌ﺗﺤﻠﻴﻞ دادهﻫﺎ و به‌دست‌آوردن روابط علت و معلولی و وزن هر یک از شاخص‌ها از تکنیک ترکیبی DANP استفاده گردید..نتایج پژوهش نشان داد بیشترین وزن را بعد اختلال در تعاملات اجتماعی (00262/0) و کاهش سلامت روحی روانی(00240/0) دارد و بعد از آن بعد اختلال در حریم خصوصی(00209/0)، اختلال در اجتماعی شدن (00189/0) و کاهش حس تعلق به مکان(00145/0) رتبه‌های سوم تا پنجم را به خود اختصاص داده است. و در خاتمه به ارائه پیشنهاداتی جهت کاهش پیامدهای اجتماعی در روند بلند مرتبه سازی شهر اهواز ارائه گردیده است.
