The purpose of this study is the role of Election Advertisement in vandalism murals in public spaces of Khorramabad and also methods of control and counteraction. The method of the present research is descriptive-analytical and based on documentary and survey studies. In order to study the subject more closely, the statistical population of the study includes the population of Khorramabad according to the 2016 census (373,416) which has 3 districts, 23 districts and 77 urban neighborhoods and the sample size using Cochran's formula is 384 people based on sampling. Clusters were done. Cronbach's alpha coefficient (0.839) was used to assess the reliability and a survey of urban experts was used to validate the questionnaire The study of the role of election campaigns in vandalism graffiti is an innovation of this research.To assess the effects of vandalism in the city using questionnaires completed by urban experts; The ELECTERE model ranked the most important vandalism factors in the city.The results of the research showed that the most graffiti that caused the loss of citizens' rights and also damaged the urban furniture was related to the Election Advertisement of the candidates of this city and other vandalistic graffiti had the lowest amount. According to surveys, more than 58.33% of the murals in Khorramabad are related to the candidates' Election.
