«Urban Ecological Research» is published by Payame Noor University, the largest public university of Iran, with high quality in research and education. The aim of this journal is to provide a forum for researchers (in Iran and around the globe) to publish their theoretical and empirical research in all fields of urban ecosystem planning growth.
The primary purpose of the journal is to promote publications of original research related to the Iranian urban ecosystem planning . Nonetheless, the journal does not preclude itself from publishing high-quality works related to other regions. At the same time, submissions of methodological or theoretical studies with results that are of practical use are welcome.With the approach of supporting applied, fundamental and developmental researches, this quarterly aims to publish theoretical, experimental and analytical articles of appropriate scientific quality. Academics, researchers, and experts are therefore invited to submit research papers containing "theoretical innovations, Or unique and practical experiences in emerging urban issues and issues related to: the relationship between the environment and energy systems, watershed management, urban industrial cology and agricultural activities around cities, environmental crises and related management and planning, the city And its suburbs in relation to: the reflection of natural, environmental, cultural-social and political-economic issues of urban and rural settlements located in the suburbs or urban area, and finally how the city's relations with other cities and villages".

Submission to this journal proceeds totally online and you will be guided stepwise through the creation and uploading of your files. All correspondence, including notification of the Editor's decision and requests for revision, takes place by e-mail removing the need for a paper trail.

Financial Policies
Article Processing Charges
According to the new policies of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, this quarterly receives two million riyals for accepted articles and two million riyals for preparing the article for publication (a Total of 4 Million Riyals). It should be noted that there is no fee for Reviewing articles.
Subscription Fee
"Urban Ecological Research" has published as an open access electronic journal, so there is no subscription fee for audiences.

"Urban Ecological Research" is licensed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License 4.0 International (CC-BY 4.0). Licensees may copy, distribute, display and make derivative works only if they cite the original published SES article.
