Copyright Policy and Licensing Statement

This journal is published under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License,This license permits unrestricted use, distribution, adaptation, and reproduction in any medium, provided that the original work is properly cited.

As a condition of publication in the Journal of Urban Ecology Researches, all authors agree to the following copyright and licensing terms:

  1. The journal is granted the first publication rights for the accepted original work, while the copyright of all published works remains with the author(s).
  2. By granting the  Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License, to their work, authors retain ownership of the copyright but grant others explicit permission to download, reuse, reprint, modify, distribute, or copy the work, provided that the original source and author(s) are properly cited (including a full bibliographic reference and a link to the journal’s website). No additional permission is required from the author(s) or the publisher for such usage.
  3. Any reuse or redistribution must adhere to the terms of the  Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License,. Exceptions to these terms may be granted at the sole discretion of the Editors-in-Chief. Such exceptions must be issued in writing. In the absence of a written exception, the  Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License, applies to all published works.
  4. Authors may enter into separate, non-exclusive distribution agreements for the published version of the article, provided they acknowledge its initial publication in the Journal of Urban Ecology Researches.
  5. Authors are permitted to deposit their work in online repositories or on their personal websites. Pre-print versions must include a citation and a link to the final published version on the journal’s website as soon as it becomes available. Post-print versions (including the publisher’s final PDF) must include a full citation and a link to the journal’s website.
  6. It is the authors’ responsibility to secure all necessary permissions for the use of third-party copyrighted materials in their submission. Written evidence of such permissions must be provided to the journal upon acceptance of the manuscript.
