Public parking lots are one of the most important infrastructures of the transportation system that play an effective role in reducing traffic and its efficiency and the quality of urban life. This research is of an applied type, which uses library studies to develop theoretical foundations (urban planning and urban traffic management), to understand the scope of the study and investigate the existing situation by field method and using detailed and comprehensive plan maps, and the extent of deficiencies and the manner of spatial distribution. The parking lots have been marked. Public parking per capita has been determined according to the standard of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development. In order to determine the appropriate limits for the construction of parking, identify the influential criteria in locating and use the Super Decisions software to convert the criteria into information layers and for each of the criteria (layers), the required distances (Harim) has been created. The road network has been modeled in the comprehensive study of transportation and traffic of Urmia city with the VISUM software environment. Considering the effect of each of the layers and their pairwise comparison by Super Decisions software, the weight of each layer was calculated, and the incompatibility rate of pairwise comparisons was obtained as 0.08 and since it was less than 0.1, compatibility These comparisons are acceptable. Finally, by superimposing the layers of information, appropriate ranges are determined and divided into five categories from very poor to very good.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the ability to develop suitable winter sports areas in Sepidan city. The research method is analytical-descriptive and applied. In this research, using the AHP method, the most susceptible Areas for the development of winter sports in Sepidan township have been identified. For this purpose, important factors affecting this phenomenon include; rainfall, air temperature, altitude, slope and direction of slope, communication routes, density of communication routes, distance from residential areas and land use which were used. The use of satellite images of the snow cover in combination with the hierarchical method to determine the favorable areas for the development of winter sports is the innovation of the present research. The results of weighting the criteria affecting the development of winter sports in this province showed that rainfall is of primary importance. Spatial analysis of the weight of variables affecting the development of winter sports has shown that almost all the weights obtained from the 9 variables affecting the development of tourism in the northern and northwestern regions of the township have more weight. Combining 9 layers of information with hierarchical analysis in the ArcGIS software environment and calculating the final weight leading to the extraction of 5 different classes in terms of areas prone to the development of winter ecotourism. The results showed 3.46 percent of the township's area is very suitable for tourism development.

The risk of earthquake has threatened human settlements ever since. Despite the advancement of science and technology in the present age, the humankind has not yet been able to accurately predict and counteract earthquakes. However, it is possible to minimize the devastations upon appropriate management. This study enquired in to the selection of temporary housing sites as a crisis management measure for earthquake victims in Borujen city. Therefore, based on library research and comments of experts and crisis management specialists, contributory factors and parameters to temporary housing sites selection were identified. The final weight of each factor was determined by using the Analytical Hierarchy Process Model (AHP). The geographic information system (GIS) was used to prepare maps in different layers. Spatial and non-spatial data were combined by using the final weights of each of the factors and analyzed in the GIS, which resulted in the selection of the best places for temporary housing sites. The results of the paired comparisons showed that the geological parameter was the least important with the significance coefficient of 0.16 and the safety parameter was the most important with the coefficient of 0.376. Moreover, the results indicated that parks and green spaces and schools were the best places for establishing temporary housing sites for earthquake victims in the city of Borujen, whereas the required space for temporary housing sites in the central part of the city is hardly sufficient.

Tabriz is an example of this issue that despite the spatial coherence and compactness in emergence and growth phase of its organic to Pahlavi period has changed completely, especially in the early 40s before the land reform, following the developments in result of recent ecade surbanization, and in condition that before a few decades ago has formed in a confined space and enclosed with fort had become more widespread and today it is trapped in the porous and patient structure. In other words, the spatial development of the city over the past half-century over the 2/4 is equal to population growth; the happens is interpreted to indiscriminate horizontal development and destroy the best gardens and periphery farms and eliminate lungs breathing of the city and eventually threat environment. Research hypotheses are as follows: 1) given the indicators on the social dimensions of sustainability- cultural, economic, and physical environment, sustainable development has occurred in Tabriz. 2) The city of Tabriz is a difference in having urban sustainability indicators. The research was adescriptive- analytical study and has been used quantitative methods and models such as factor analysis, AHP method and nonparametric Friedman and Wilcoxon tests, HDI combined model and GIS. The result of the investigations showed that among 10 metropolitan areas of Tabriz the 3deprived areas with average 0.27% of development factor are placed in the lowest development and in other words is allocated the firstpriorities of urban development for the future management and planning of Tabriz to itself.

Increasing development of urban and population growth in theirs have been made the production of species municipal wastes, nowadays state of propulsion of these wastes, has become a major concern in the urban environment sustainable development. On the other hand, the problem of finding a suitable landfill due to multiple risk factors involved in this always has been including issues complex, high cost and time. This study aimed to determine the appropriate landfill sites in urban areas using GIS tools and functionality Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) has been implemented. In this paper, various factors such as distance from river line distance from fault, slope percent, type of land use and distance from the main road that are useful to the landfill site selection, had been considered in confine of Mahallat city. Then, for paired comparisons of dependent criteria and parameters were used from the knowledge of 100 experts in various fields, including environmental, government, natural resource and county municipality organizations in the form of questionnaires. After account and performance of the final weights on each of layers in GIS, modeling was performed in the form of the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Finally appropriate arenas of urban landfill sites based on availability of site pitch in the form of 5 stories from very well to very poor identified and were checked with field observations and the southeastern of Mahallat city was evaluated by area suitable for burial of urban waste.
