[English]

The present study aims to model the factors influencing the realization of a happy city using Confirmatory Factor Analysis in Noorabad Mamasani. This research is applied in terms of purpose, and descriptive-analytical in terms of nature and method, with data collection conducted through documentary and survey methods. The study's statistical population consists of all citizens residing in Noorabad Mamasani, with a sample size of 384 people estimated using Cochran’s formula and selected by simple random sampling. The primary data collection tool was a researcher-designed questionnaire, whose validity and reliability were confirmed. The findings from the one-sample t-test showed that among the three indices of a happy city (social-cultural, economic, and physical-environmental), the mean score for the social index was 3.33, for the economic index was 2.56, and for the physical-environmental index was 2.63. This indicates that Noorabad Mamasani is in a relatively favorable condition regarding the social-cultural index, while the physical-environmental and economic indices are in an unfavorable condition. The results from the Confirmatory Factor Analysis model also revealed that, among the social-cultural factors, two indices-citizens’ sense of social security and their sense of social and cultural freedom; among the economic factors, two indices-hope for future employment and increasing job opportunities; and among the physical-environmental factors, two indices-improving air pollution and managing urban waste and garbage-were identified as the most important factors affecting the realization of a happy city in Noorabad Mamasani.
