Commercial complexes as one of urban land uses and the most important physical elements play an important role in the creation of new urban spaces. Today, the establishment of multipurpose commercial complexes in cities is considered as a suitable solution for creation of new urban cores. In planning for establishment of new commercial complexes with the aim of creating dynamic urban spaces, simultaneous attention to suitable access, designing leisure spaces and tourism components are important. In this study, the dynamics of Laleh Park commercial complex in Tabriz has been assessed based on components such as suitable form and flexibility, mixed- used land uses, liveliness, visual proportionality and sense of belonging, permeability, security and timing. The method of current study is descriptive-analytical and required data have been collected using library and field sources. Statistical population of this research is specialists and visitors of Laleh Park commercial complex. Up to 384 individuals were selected as sample size and data were analyzed using statistical methods, i.e. chi square in SPSS, by quantitative and qualitative tests. The results show that more than 90 percent of the respondents had positive attitude towards desirability of the commercial center and this complex has been effective in dynamics of surrounding urban spaces. As allocation of different commercial, tourism, recreational and residential land uses to the urban areas of this complex confirms this result.
